The new industrial shed was built along the A4 motorway at the Cavenago Cambiago exit and more specifically in the municipality of Basiano (MI). It covers an area of approximately 7000 square metres and was commissioned by a large French multinational.
The work entailed the demolition of a previous iron structure, the sheet metal roofing and the tinwork. Excavations and plinths were then made using the innovative and efficient technique of disposable sheet metal formwork, which made it possible to carry out a fast but quality job to support the prefabricated building.
Subsequently, the pipes for the piping were laid, the industrial floors were executed, and the interior rooms were prepared.
Special shoring work was carried out to avoid demolishing an iron structure adjacent to the motorway, which was then incorporated into the building.
